Look younger with facial exercises – Turning the clock naturally

Ageing with grace is what most people want. But it isn’t a child’s play to reverse the ways of nature. However, it is certainly not possible to have an appearance of 16 years when your age actually is 60 years but you can surely shave off 10-15 years from your actual age with some great exercises.

You can now look younger with facial exercises naturally without having to go under the knife. Exercises that involve isomeric and resistance contractions of muscles are helpful that are done by employing your fingers and thumbs.

Regular facial exercise makes your muscles stronger and revitalize and lifts your skin. Needless to say, this is the most inexpensive way of looking young too.

By the time we reach the age of 55 years, our facial muscles elongates by around half-inch even when we continue to laugh, sing or talk. This lax can be corrected to a great extent when certain muscles are focused upon and exercised that finally plumps and supports the skin in a better manner.

So, if you really want to regain that lose glow of your face, you can try to look younger with facial exercises given below:

  1. Eyes – Put fingers near the corners of both your eyes. Now, move fingers upwards while you use facial muscles for moving the eyelids down. Next thing is to put index fingers over your eyebrows. Pull them down slowly with fingers as you try to raise the eyebrows at the same time. Do this for around 10-12 times everyday.
  2. Mouth – Smile widely while your lips are pursed. Repeat this for 10-15 times daily.
  3. Chin – Put two fingers below your chin and exert a little pressure inside, gently. Simultaneously, try pressing your tongue within against the bottom teeth. Hold it for around 15 seconds.

While these exercises can be done by anyone who feels that their skin has started sagging and wrinkles have started showing but there are a few people who must do these exercises.

For instance, anyone who had a stroke may find that their facial muscles of one side are not working properly. This happens because brain could not send the right signals to the muscles anymore that tell muscles how they should move.

Similar to muscles in other body parts, muscles of the face also weaken and stops functioning in some cases.

Facial exercises are thereby especially recommended, if you have just recovered from stroke. The brain is retrained and the muscles are again made stronger with regular facial exercises.
